Valerie Cosmo, owner of Waggie Tail Doggie Day Care, came to the USA in 1977 from Northamptonshire in England. She has been an animal lover since she was a very little girl. Growing up in the beautiful country side made it easy for her to own many different breeds of dogs (and cats too). When she was not at school she would walk for hours through the fields with her beloved dogs. She would always say, "One day I am going to going to live on a farm so I can own many dogs."

Sometimes dreams take strange turns. Many, many years later with her dream never forgotten, Valerie came out of retirement to accomplish it. She doesn't own lots of dogs, but through her doggie day care she is able to take care of them, love them, and see them run and play on her 1+ acre fenced yard.

Valerie's philosophy is that everyone who wants a dog shouldn't be deprived of that privilege just because of today's busy schedules. She wants to see dogs chasing a ball, lying under a tree, or just watching the butterflies pass by. Watching them have good old doggie fun on a grassy knoll is an old dream come true .

Valerie and her husband Frank own two beautiful Airedales of their own. Their names are River and Savanah and both are 19 months old. Every day they look forward to greeting new playmates.
